​ Many lefthanded athletes are considered among the all-time best in the sports they play,  
but not too long ago lefthanders had very little success in sports other than baseball  and  tennis.
While lefthanders these days continue to have their place in  baseball  and  tennis,

Lefthanded Quarterbacks have become extinct,

and Lefthanded Golfers and Lefthanded Bowlers are rarely seen.
