Michael Vick

All-Time Best Lefthanded NFL Quarterbacks

Michael Vick played college football at Virginia Tech and in 1999 he led his team to an 11-0 regular season record before they lost the national title game at the Sugar Bowl.  He was injured for part of the 2000 season but led his team to a 1 loss season.  He was the first overall pick in the 2001 draft by the Atlanta Falcons.  

Vick played sparingly during the 2001 season, then started 15 games in 2002.  He was injured for most of the 2003 season, but then started almost every game for the next 3 years.  He missed the next 3 years of his career to legal problems, and when he returned he spent 1 year as a backup, then won the starting job for the Philadelphia Eagles. He started 48 more games over the next 5 seasons with the Eagles, Jets, and Steelers.  He made the Pro Bowl 4 times, and was the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2010.

For his career he won 61 games, lost 51, and tied 1 game.  He completed 1807 passes in 3217 attempts for a 56.2% completion percentage. He threw for 22,464 yards with 133 touchdowns and 88 interceptions..  He also ran for  6109 yards, including 1039 yards rushing on 2006, and had a career rushing average of 7.0 per carry, all 3 of which are NFL records.
